This quiet neighborhood is more than a neighborhood, but rather its own township. Founded in the 1930s this small township is home to many of Fort Worth’s well-known prominent families. The mansion-like homes and lush expansive yards feature a number of architectural styles with historic homes mixed among newer modern homes. Made up of two sections (east and west) affectionately known as “Old” and “New” Westover, the community is anchored by the prestigious Shady Oaks Country Club founded by Marvin Leonard.
