Situated on the south side of Camp Bowie, the neighborhood originally was grazing land for Angus cattle. However, in the mid-1940s, the Luther Brothers & Wilson Company began platting and developing lots for homes. Today, the neighborhood features rolling hills marked with mature trees. The community’s main attraction is known as Luther Lake and marks the center of the neighborhood. Many of the homes are one and split-level homes recognized as ranch style or mid-century design.
